Coloring your hairs in Pregnancy
Coloring-If you are among the countable ones who wants to
color the hair or change its color even during pregnancy, you
can do it but with caution. Because the dye is absorbed
through the scalp and into the body. It can be identified in
urine. Many physicians advise not to color the hair with
permanent dyes during the first trimester. Its because your
baby is undergoing important neurological developments.
Coloring can then be resumed in the second or third
trimester. Few suggestions for safety coloring for healthy
pregnancy: -
- Look for products with the fewest number of
chemicals.
- Always color your hair in a well-ventilated room.
- Wear gloves while handling the mixture.
4. If you want your hair done in a parlor, request the first
appointment in the morning on their least busy day when you
are least likely to suffer excessive chemical exposure.
5. Go for color, which suits your skin color and your mood.
6. If you are coloring your hair for the first time don’t go for
daring shades. You can go for brown shades, which goes well
in every skin color.
7. Always choose a quality product that will last for eight to nine
months i.e. you can color once and forget about it.
8. Use a color protective shampoo.
9. Don’t forget to use a conditioner after using shampoo.
Remember, coloring your hair is easy but to take care of your
hair after coloring is much more difficult. Your beautiful hair will
need extra care. Oil it regularly and follow a good hair regime,
else you will be left with no hair left on your scalp after few
months of coloring.
